The last weekend of October the boys and dad went on a cub scout campout and had a blast. Sleeping in a tent was fun and cramped.

No cub scout event would be complete without leather crafts.

 

We had a great time at a local pumpkin patch with Ammie & Bapa.

We went out early in the morning to cheer uncle Robbie on during the marathon.

Uncle Robbie came out to run our city's marathon and the kids were very excited to see him.

Rootbeer floats were a highlight at the talent show during the retreat.

We had a great time at a retreat in Arizona's White Mtns. #4 caught his first fish.

We had picnic on the Mogollon Rim on a snowy day.

What a beauty- does she look a little cold? She had just finished a snowball fight.

The kids had a lot of fun on the bouncy-slide at the car show as these pictures show.

 

Face painting is good when you can have all kinds of scary, manly things.

 

Oct 7 was a classic car show at our church. The kids like the classic cars but especially the Batmobile and...

...the military jeep with the big gun on the back.

The Cs return from Central Asia has made our kids very happy. K and M are very much enjoying playing together again.

And we finished off a perfect day with a demolition derby.

 

The kids enjoyed boarding down the little snow slopes.



A nice 180 degree spin to finish it off!

 

All the games were alluring but we only wasted money on the goldfish and now have two at home to show for it.

We finally figured out where C's hair came from!

C gives the deer caught in the headlights look while playing in the snow in the winter wonderland area.

The slide in the background was very fun.

K and C enjoyed the pony ride.
