K will be dedicated at church this week. This is the picture we used to put on the sidescreens during the service.

K's 5th birthday party was fun for all. He wanted a pirate party, but we were concerned with the idea of honoring something evil like piracy. We ended up telling the story that the kids were trying to lead the pirates to Jesus so they had to dress like pirates in order to reach the pirates. It worked for us!

Our traditional Easter breakfast is appropriately called "Empty Tomb Biscuits". First take the marshmallow and dip it in the melted butter.

Then roll it in the sugar and cinnamon mix. The marshmallow is Jesus' body and these are the spices used to prepare the body for the tomb.

Then put the marshmallow on the biscuit dough and roll it up like so...

Now put it in the oven and bake.

And for the finished product- voila! When they are broken open, the marshmallow is gone- the tomb is empty; thus it makes the perfect Easter breakfast- and they taste great too!

That's H right in the middle looking up at the camera at the Palm Sunday celebration at church.

Easter morning saw all the kids dressed up.

K's first solid food. After waiting 7 months she was more than ready. In following tradition the sibling right ahead of her got to feed her the fist bite. She loves solids, but we could do without the stinky diapers!

E has been working hard at Ballet class and has learned to do splits.

H loves baseball. He is definitely keeping his eye on the ball.

H had a great time boogie boarding with friends at the beach.

C loves his little sister.

K was trying to escape but was caught in the act.

C had a great 2nd birthday party which was combined with his cousins who also have birthdays in April. He loves Blue's Clues so Laurie thought of a great cake idea.

K has learned to ride a bike without training wheels. He never actually needed training wheels. He just tried a few times and then he had it.

Here are some more pics from Disneyland and California Adventure. E enjoyed dancing with the High School Musical show.

Everyone got wet on the river ride, and then danced some more at the block party.

Then E, H, & K posed for the camera; note the yellow shirts to make it easy to spot the boys in the crowd.

E especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet the princesses.

Jasmine and Pocohontas gave the kids the royal treatment.
